Rates and Billing
Our current Basic Rate includes room and board, routine nursing services and personal care, social services, activities, laundry service, housekeeping, maintenance services, accounting, and billing services. Additional personal expenses such as pharmaceuticals, beautician services, transportation, medical supplies, and other personal need items may not be included in the daily room rate and will be charged as additional expenses.
For a posting of the current basic rate, or if you have questions about which services are your responsibility to pay, please visit the Business Office.
The Center’s Basic Rate may change at any time. The Center will provide you with thirty (30) days advance notice of any changes.
To keep things simple, we usually charge you once a month. Your bill reflects all of the services you receive during your stay. Charges fall into two categories:
- A basic daily rate, which includes your room, meals, nursing care, housekeeping, telephone and television.
- Charges for special services, which may include physician-ordered services such as X-rays, laboratory tests, or surgical procedures.
You will receive a breakdown of these charges so you can clearly identify the cost of various parts of your services and care. If you have any questions regarding this, please call the number on your statement.
PAYING YOUR BILL
Monthly payments are due in full by the 5th of each month. You can make your monthly payments through a variety of options. Many residents choose to pay through direct deposit from their bank account.
Residents usually use a combination of the following payment options when paying for care:
